The medical library has a couple more books on social media. Stop in and check out The Twitter Book by Tim O'Reilly (Thing 2 Tim O'Reilly, remember?) This is a basic book which uses screen shots to illustrate everything you need to know about Twitter. If you are interested in the marketing aspect of social media there are two books that might be of interest. Trust Agents, by uberblogger Chris Brogan, discusses how an internet business must instill trust in their customers. The New Community Rules: Marketing on the Social Web, outlines many of the same tools covered in this class and explains how each can be used in business. Real life examples are used to reinforce the message.
